They try to get you to do what they want. I acted like I didn’t know anything about cars and they just tried to put higher cost oil in my car than what I wanted and I just had to talk to 2 different guys before they went ahead and put synthetic blend...what I wanted in my car. Another lady was in there as well and they failed her on her VA car inspection that took an hour and a half on some really small stuff.
Joshua - We always recommend what is best for the longevity and performance of your vehicle. If you in fact were knowledgeable on cars like you mentioned, you’d agree that oil is the “blood” of every engine and not supplying your vehicle with the correct oil will cause damage to your engine in the long run. Your owner’s manual clearly states to use 0W-20 oil (full synthetic) – there is even a special note that mentions you may use 5W-20 oil (synthetic-blend) for one use which you’ve already done, but then you must go back to 0W-20. On top of that, your oil cap has “0W-20” printed on it. Getting this right is vital to our business ethics and integrity to our customers. I’m sorry this visit didn’t go as you wanted it to (though we were able to fit you in without an appointment and get you out in good timing), but we will not compromise on quality and are adamant about safety. We’re a bit perplexed on why the lady whose vehicle failed the state inspection was included in your review. It was her vehicle that didn’t pass the state mandated safety guidelines and we are bound by law to uphold those guidelines. I’m sure you’ll agree that we’re all safer because of this. We have attempted to get in contact with you, but have been unable to reach you. We would appreciate it if you could return our call so we could discuss this further – (703) 272-3216. Thanks
