Outstanding experience at Fairfax location with two hybrid cars - 2012 Chevy Volt and 2008 Lexus 400h. With respect to the Volt, three other shops recommended either replacement of the hybrid battery (~$6-20K, based on their estimations and personal internet searches) or try to sell the car. This shop went through their inspection and determined they could address the issue. 1 wk since picking up the car from their shop and less than the lowest estimated price for a replacement battery, this Volt has been running well. Just as important as their high quality work products is their approach to service towards the car and communication with the client. They are problem-solvers that take pride in their work. In particular, I experienced clear and transparent communication of processes in-person, text, and on documents shared. The staff was very helpful in explaining each major step in their process, from intake, diagnosis, repair, and follow-ups. Clint (service advisor), Matt Z (technician) and Drew (service manager) were great with the execution of their responsibilities. Further, for anything hybrid, it seemed as if Matt Z was all over it. This applied to the servicing of our other vehicle (RX 400h) as well. It is my understanding that I got what I paid for here, which is high quality and timely service of the car, an outstanding customer experience, and a three-yr/36K warranty for their work.
