Northern VA Auto Repair

It's hard to find a trustworthy independent garage sometimes, my experience with the McLean Automotive Service Center was great. They were very careful with my brand new car, in for its first oil change and tire rotation. I provided them specific instructions about what the manual called for and they were more than happy to oblige (I'm picky sometimes but they weren't bothered by it at all). Car was in and out in 30 minutes and was just as clean afterwards as before (no greasy fingerprints or anything like that). I plan to continue going to them and will update my review if needed.

I have been a customer of Kingstowne Auto Care for over 15 years. I have a multiple car household, these guys keep all of our cars running in tip top shape. I find these guys to be honest and skilled auto care specialists.I have also recommending them to my friends and co-workers who share my same opinion.

I can't sing these guys' praises enough. John and Cyrus are genuinely honest and friendly people. I've been one of their frequent customers since my car is a problem child, and multiple times they've found additional (small) problems that they've fixed at no additional cost to me. Can't recommend them enough!

As someone who's worked on cars for 40 years myself, I know how to spot bad practices and competent, honest car repair service. I've never had anything but decent service from these guys. They apparently operate on the principle of treating customers well so they'll come back. It works with me.

I service my Audi and my Ford here. So far, this place is great! Brakes for my Audi would have cost me $900 (labor + parts) at the dealership. I ordered my own brakes and I paid Kingstowne Auto to install them. I saved almost 70% off what the dealer was trying to charge me! Also, they don't charge you to do routine checks - they only charge for the work that needs to be done. The prices are very good for labor (I order all my own parts) and the repairs get finished by the time I get off of work. I wish I had started bringing my vehicles here a long time ago, I would have saved thousands upon thousands of dollars vs. taking my vehicles to the dealers.

First time went in with my truck that wouldn't pass the yearly safety check. They went over it and said it would cost 2-3k to repair, needless to say they recommended getting rid of it. I took their advice, they did not charge me anything! I thought this is going to be my new go to auto repair place. Boy they did not disappoint, hats off to Cyrus. Great place, it gets my highest marks.

In and out for an inspection very quickly. No problems.

This is the most honest auto shop I have ever been to, and I've been to many from CA to VA! I was coming here for a while with my Audi A4 because they don't charge an arm and a leg like German specialists and dealerships do but they still know how to work on them. I hadn't been back in a while but today I brought my new car in and needed some exhaust/muffler work done. I originally had an 8am appointment but ended up being 2 hours late. They initially turned me down because they were too busy but Cyrus remembered me from my Audi so he went ahead and squeezed me into their tight rotation. They ended up doing a great job and their prices are always competitive! They even fixed the rubber lining on my front lip by putting clips to secure it and I didn't even ask them to! I will always bring my car here from now on.

I have been a customer at McLean Automotive Service Center for the past several years. I am completely satisfied with the work performed on my Toyota and with their prices. Work has always been completed on time and at or below the estimate. They do great work.
